CGA SB-28 – Safety of Instrument Air Systems Backed Up by Gases Other Than Air
Instrument air can accidentally or purposefully be used to supply breathing air or to power air tools in confined spaces. This decision can be fatal if the instrument air is backed up with gases other than air. This bulletin warns of the dangers and suggests some solutions.
