AS 3587.4 – Ferroalloys – Chemical analysis, Part 4: Determination of carbon content – Infrared method
Sets out an infrared method for the determination of carbon in a range of ferroalloys after combustion in oxygen using high-frequency induction heating. The method is applicable to all types of ferroalloys having carbon content in the range 0.005 percent to 8 percent.
