ALI A14.3-2018 prescribes minimum requirements for thedesign, construction, and use of fixed ladders, and setsforth requirements for cages, wells, and ladder safetysystems used with fixed ladders, in order to minimizepersonal injuries. All parts and appurtenances necessaryfor a safe and efficient ladder shall be considered integralparts of the design.
